Actual Pandemic: Yikes!

Well, we got the official word today here in Ottawa that this whole pandemic thing is actually actual, and we are going into lockdown to keep it from getting out of control.

On the one hand, I'm happy the government is taking charge and keeping us from sliding into the abyss.

On the other hand, this is all kinds of scary.

I'm writing this post mostly to mark the date, because my brain can't quite process the magnitude of what's going on yet.
