The Day After...

MCMSaturday, May 28, 2005
This post is from a version of my blog with inconsistent timestamps: evidently I was very good at defining 'modified' dates, but not 'created' dates. As such, I can't be sure when the content was actually written. Sorry!

Well here we are. The 36 hours has passed and we've all got at least a few hours sleep before coming back to the real world. We've all agreed that no matter what the outcome, this has been a great success in terms of exploring the creative process.

A few things that we'll take into the future:

  • Running a contest at the same time as development is asking for trouble
  • Starting development without all resources in place is also asking for trouble
  • Perhaps a sleep break isn't such a bad idea (though MCM may still disagree)

Obviously we're going beyong our original 36 hours, as we want to make sure we have the polished product we set out to create. So that said, if all goes as planned we'll have our complete package in about three days time. It was decided by all of us that putting out an unfinished product just to keep to our deadline wasn't the logical choice.

So thank you all very much for your support and contributions, and we hope that you join us the next time we launch a crazy experiment like this...
