Long Break of Silence

This post is from a version of my blog with inconsistent timestamps: evidently I was very good at defining 'modified' dates, but not 'created' dates. As such, I can't be sure when the content was actually written. Sorry!

Well that was not entirely unexpected. Did a little site called rdc36.com and got massively sidetracked about updating this site. Also to do with getting ready to move from Ontario to Victoria, B.C. (other side of the country). Causes me no end of grief.

A few things on the go right now: script-writing. Yeah, yeah, I know I'm doing this backwards, but there are some scripts that are too cool not to do. Also talking with an artist or two about making a Liberty Bell Art Book which would be filled with cool conceptual stuff. Limited edition-like. Mostly cause limited editions are all I can manage :)

So far Phase I has been a moderate success, with a little bit of money and a whole lot of interest... I'm considering just launching a parallel Phase II site soon (after the move) so we can get into the nitty-gritty of preparing the series.

I am also settled on DVD release, without broadcasting it, and also BitTorrent versions let out (tho low-res to make it easier to distribute). I'm debating the pricing, but $11/disc sounds reasonable, assuming there's 1 episode plus features on each one. More expensive than a typical single episode, but I think I can make it worth it.

Phew. FCP should apparently be ready for playing in a few weeks.

And now I have to find a box to fill.
