Oki and Nobbin Day 12: Boots

Oki sees an old friend for help finding Nobbin's roots, but ends up with a bigger problem than she ever thought possible.

The trick to finding the place was to not appear to be looking for the place. The tiniest turn of the head toward the neon signs that flickered all down the alley, that was all it took for the entire passageway to shut itself down and disappear forever. The entrance to the alley only appeared for those who looked like they had stumbled upon it by chance.

Oki was an expert at accidentally discovering things, so it didn't slow her down one bit.
