Meet Lucky

Meet Lucky. Lucky is a palliative foster from North Carolina. She has an enlarged heart (causing fluid build up in her abdomen) and isn't expected to live past Christmas. She's our first palliative dog, and we're anticipating a very rough few weeks — but we're going to make sure she has the best few weeks in the history of dogkind.

Here you can see her specially-made bed, which took some time to convince her to try. There's a few hours of overlap between her and the puppies (they're adopted!) but it's already apparent how WOW different they all are. Lucky is peaceful and serene.

The puppies? Less so.
