One step forward, two steps sideways
This is the life of a writer: start every week with a list of things to do, accomplish TONS of amazing feats, and yet the list is largely the same. That said, I did manage to get Problem King past a major milestone. So that’s… a thing.
The list for this week is:
TV
Schnell: One episode went from springboard to polish last week (the ninja one), and one went out as D1 yesterday (the zombie one), which is great. There may be more this week. In fact, I’m expecting at least one more. Fingers crossed.
Parsley: Two outlines submitted last week, but Parsley’s turnaround is slower because they need broadcaster notes at each stage. It buys me a bit of time, which will be good because…
Marco: A D1 episode on this show! It’s a fun series to write for, so I’m excited to do another.
Tesla: A new series starting up! It’s gonna be LOADS of fun. We’ll be doing an outline this week, I think. Maybe two. And/or a D1. I can’t tell what their process is, yet, but I can say with absolute certainty that the show is gonna be AMAZING.
Books
Problem King chapters 1-26 are done and once-overed and out the door for review. My original plan was to switch to The Other You for the rest of the month, but I’m kinda feeling a roll on TPK now, so I’ll see how far I can get before my fingers fall off.
Extras
My very first Extras project starts this week, and it’s a D1 of Hey Genie. I have to deliver a milestone (outline) by Friday, so that’ll be exciting. I’m sure it’ll be possible. I mean, somewhat sure. Heh.
Pitch du Week
Oversight. I’m not even going to pretend this’ll happen this week.
